Free Makeup Samples Right From The Source

Did you know that many makeup retailers, especially larger companies like Macy’s, Lord and Taylor and even Sears have access to  a huge amount of free makeup samples, samples that you or I, the consumer will never see. These retailers receive literally thousands of free makeup and even perfume samples each and every day. The ultimate goal of these retailers and makeup manufacturers is to get you shopping where they want you to shop. For example, a saleswoman at the makeup counter at Lord and Taylor notices you browsing the lipstick section, she may offer you a free makeup sample or two in the hopes that if you do choose to purchase that brand that you will return to that retailer. They may even charge a bit more then some other retailers but because they gave you that free makeup sample, you are more likely to buy the makeup from them.

Finding Free Makeup Samples

The point of this post isn’t to inform you as to why manufacturers provide retailers with a ton of free makeup samples. This article wasn’t meant to make you feel jealous of these retailers, it was meant to make you aware of yet another way to get your hands on some free makeup samples. So, what exactly do you need to do to get your greedy little hands on these amazing freebies? You merely need to visit any larger retailers with a large perfume and or makeup department. Once you are there try browsing any given section and wait for someone to offer to help you. I’ve found that honesty is the best policy in this situation. You should let the salesperson know that you aren’t interested in spending any money at the moment but would like to try out a few free makeup samples. This is a very simple and effective free sample gather method.

You should keep in mind that if you are going to be collecting these free samples you should only accept the freebie if you are actually willing to buy the product. It is a bit immoral to snag up all the free samples you can get if you have no interest in ever actually purchasing the product.
